Our mission
Buying a property is one of the biggest financial decisions most Australians make. A building and pest inspection is your safety net — but finding an independent, qualified inspector shouldn't be hard.
buildinginspectors.au exists to make that easier. We provide:
- Plain-English guides to inspections, reports, Australian Standards, and state regulations
- Real cost data by state and property type, so you know what to expect
- A vetted directory of licensed, insured inspectors with verified credentials
Why we're different
Most building inspection sites are lead-gen funnels owned by inspection companies, or thin aggregators that take referral fees from agents. We're independent:
- We verify every inspector's licence against state registers (QBCC, Fair Trading, VBA, etc.)
- We don't accept agent referrals or commissions from sales
- Inspectors pay for Pro listings and leads, not for fake reviews or top rankings
- Our guides are reviewed by qualified building inspectors, not marketing teams
Who we are
